Update
Hey kids,
Looks like I am going to be posting a little update on my extremely exciting life. At the moment it’s almost 10 AM and I’m sitting, pantless, watching Rachel Ray. I don’t even personally know her but she seems like an awesome person that I’d want to be friends with! The topic on Monday is gas so make sure y’all check it out ;)
Moving on. Last week I went on a trip to Decatur, Texas. I bet you’re wondering where that is.. well.. it’s about 45 minutes away from Denton, Texas. Oh.. and Denton, TX is about 30 minutes from Dallas, Texas. My family lives in the country.. and I’m talking private roads country. It was fun hanging out with the family, but I was mainly there to lease an apt and attend orientation for UNT (University of North Texas.)
Good news first. I felt a lot of anxiety when trying to lease an apt. I definitely don’t make enough money to lease an apt with my job so I had to depend on one of my parents to co-sign. My parents don’t make much money.. BUT my dad was able to co-sign so now I have an apt that I’ll move into on August 19th! Unless I wait a day so I can see Brian Regan in San Antonio that evening. The apts are called “The Forum.”
Even greater news. I am now officially a student at UNT! GO MEAN GREEN! So far the only classes I’ve signed up for are Latin, History, and some math class… I need two more classes but it seems like I wont be taking any classes towards my major this semester… boo. The campus is pretty big and I need a bicycle, because there is no way I can get to class within 10 minutes with these short legs I was blessed with.
I also was able to take a trip to the beach with Ashley, Josh, and Vivian. It was a lot of fun and we all left burned, but a few shades darker! A lot of people were supposed to go but apparently a month is not enough time to follow through with a trip. It’s okay, I’ve been telling people not to worry because in less than 2 months they wont have to deal with me EVER AGAIN! bahaha… but I’m serious….
